“The Shareholders Meeting has closed, and all decisions have been made, including that on the dividend amount recommended to the shareholders by the Board of Directors at the Management Committee’s initiative.
Consequently, a full year ahead of schedule, the Company is allocating 50 per cent of the adjusted net profit of the Gazprom Group under IFRS for the dividend payout. In absolute terms, this translates into RUB 297.1 billion, the largest amount of dividends in the Russian oil and gas sector based on the results of 2020.
The entire amount will be financed from our free cash flow.
Gazprom’s number one export market is Europe. The share of EUR in export revenues is poised to exceed two-thirds in 2021.
I would also like to highlight another major decision made today at the Shareholders Meeting. Amendments to the Articles of Association of the head company have been approved in order to, among other things, change Gazprom’s registered address to St. Petersburg.”
