El abogado del Movimiento Nacional de Defensa de Derechos Italianos en el Exterior, Tullio Zembo, adelantó que recomendará a los bonistas sumarse al canje de deuda en default de la Argentina.

"Este es el momento de entrar", remarcó el letrado esta mañana en declaraciones radiales, al tiempo que destacó que "la perspectiva para del canje es muy viable y muy interesante".

Zembo reveló que iniciará gestiones para "aconsejar" a los tenedores de deuda italianos que se sumen a la propuesta del gobierno argentino, que ayer logró el respaldo del ente regulador de ese país y el lunes se pondrá en marcha.

"La alternativa es entrar al canje porque muchas otras alternativas no va a haber", indicó el abogado.

Todo este quilombo con los PIGs va a hacer que se apuren los acreedores para entrar al canje,
a ver si se complica mas el panorama y lo tiran para atras como en el 2008...

Greece: A Three-Year Aid Package Worth €100-120bn


In a press conference after a briefing with German parliamentarians, the head of the IMF Strauss-Kahn, ECB President Trichet, and German Finance Minister Schaeuble said that the negotiating process for the Greek aid package should end in the next few days (probably by the weekend). All three officials stressed the need for a quick decision and rapid action to fix the Greek crisis and avoid further contagion. Strauss-Khan said the contagion could go well beyond Europe. Strauss-Khan and Trichet both said very good progress has been made in the last few days on the negotiating process with the Greek government and that they are confident the Greek situation can be fixed.


On the timeline, the German finance minister said that if the negotiations are finalised in the next few days, the approval of the German contribution to the aid package will be submitted to Parliament on Friday 7 May, with a fast-track procedure in order for Germany to be able to disburse the money as soon as possible. The approval of the German Parliament remains uncertain at this point, but we reckon German participation in the Greek aid package will eventually win support.


The officials did not comment on the total size of the three-year package. However, a statement from the leader of the German Green Party said that during this morning’s briefings, German lawmakers were told that the total package would amount to €100-120bn over three years and that this would allow Greece to stay away from capital markets for the same period. He also said that the overall German contribution to the package would be around €25bn. This suggests that around €90bn of the total package would come from the euro member states and the rest – €10-30bn – from the IMF. Mr Schaeuble said that they had agreed on €30bn as the eurozone’s contribution for the first year, but that a decision has been made for three years. This implicitly confirms that the overall package may well be in the order of €100-120bn.


Another German MP, the CDU budget policy spokesman, said that the IMF and the ECB rejected the idea, advanced by some German lawmakers, that banks should be included in the rescue package by having to bear some haircuts on their holdings of Greek government bonds. To us this suggests that the ECB and IMF do not favour an immediate restructuring of the Greek debt which would spread out losses to the rest of the European financial sector.

Tarde o temprano, lo de Europa va a explotar, es la misma historia que AIG, Freddy Mac, Bear Stern, Lehmann, pero a nivel de países.
Probablemente haya paquetes de corto plazo que hagan parecer que todo se soluciona, yo creo que no se soluciona, se dilata solamente. Igual puede haber buenos rallies entremedio, pero me da la sensación que serían para descargar.
