Recien salio esto:
"While reaffirming that rates will stay low, the Fed has been steadily dismantling the extraordinary facilities it put in place to pump money into credit markets and buy illiquid assets from banks.
These programs have created a large quantity of excess reserves in the banking system. The Fed said it will mop up this money before it can trigger an outbreak of inflation.
That process continued today as the Fed said it would end its TAF program that auctioned credit to banks.

Tengo entendido que ya habían avisado la reunión anterior de esto mismo, al menos en cuanto a los programas de compra de activos ilíquidos.
